Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
