The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
Everything in one place, covering regulation, withdrawals, here pricing, here and the bonus terms, is website at Trade The Day.
